The weekly stock sales conducted by Mr H. Stephenson (Havelock Street) and the Farmers' Co-Operative Association (West Street) we're largely attended on Saturday. Good clearances were effected at the following prices— Poultry.—Hens, Is 2d to 2s 8d per pair * roosters, Is 8d to 2s lOd^per pair; ducks, 3s 7d to 8s lid per pair. • Pigs,—Weaners, 8s 6d; stores, 10s 6d, Us, 12s 6d, 13s, 14s, 14s 6d; ..larger do., 16s, 17s 6d, 18s 6d to 30s: porkers, 355; baconers, 41s 6tl to 52s 6d. - Cattle, etc.—Cow in profit, £5; springer, £10; calf, 14s; horse, gig and harness,' £o. • Produce.—Oatsheaf chaff, 3s 9d per sack; rhubarb, 4d per bundle; green peas, Is to Is 6d per peck; bid potatoes, 3s to 4s Gd per sack; wheat, 13$ per sack; new potatoes, l£d to 2d per
