CELEBRATIONS AT BENARES.
Per Press Association — Copyright. BOMBAY, December 9. The State entry of the King and Queen into Ejelhi was celebrated at Benares. Their portraits were borne in a howdah, followed by a procession a mile in length, including elephants, camels, infantry, cavalry, artillery, school children and carriages filled with the richer folk to the Queen's Park, amidst enormous enthusiastic throngs. (Received December 11, .8.45 a.m.) DELHI, December 10. King George visited the ruling chiefs' camps, ..which are fronted by gardens laid out with flowers and foliage of the national colours of the different States. The camps are illuminated by tiny electric lamps of similarly distinctive colours. The Queen visited the hospitals.
