(Received August 21, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, August'2l. An informal Cabinet meeting discussed the political situation, and decided to prepare for a general election. Ministers expect an appeal will be made to the country about Christmas. They consider a dissolution cannot long be staved off. In the meantime work in connection with the redistribution of seats will bo pushed ahead.
