WATERTON.

A very successful concert wa.s held, under the auspices of the Wai Waterton 1.0. Q.F. I^odge, hi the Library Hall on Thursday evening. There was a large attendance, representatives from Sister Lodges being present. Bro. W. T. Sofil, P.P.G.M., presided, and briefly addressed the gathering. A lengthy and varied programme of instrumental and vocal items, together with recitations, was submitted, and was well received, the applause. being generous and hearty. The followirig contributed items :-^Piano duet, Misses Soal and Wotten; piano solo, Ifiss Nealon; instrumental trio (violin, banjo, and piano), Mrs Frizzelle, Mr P. Sullivan, and Miss Watson; banjo and .mandolin, solos, Mr Sullivan; songs, Messrs . Ramsay, Brand, and Barton, ■'Misses Wateon and Vessey; recitations, Mr Frizzelle, Mr Ramsay, and Mr W. Stevens Mr Frizzelle and Company. Mrs Frizzelle, and Mis-see Watson and Wotten acted as accompanists. A hearty vote of-thanks to the contributors was moved by Bro. TV '.Crosson,' and, carried by. acclamation, and th© concert' closed'with a verse of the National Anthem. A'daoice followed, Bro. Oossonv and Smith acting as M.C. Tlie music' was supplied by Messrs Houlton, Robb; and Miss Soal.
