THE NATIONALISTS' AIM.
Mr Walter Long, at Pembroke Dock, said that a million and a-half of loyalists in Ireland were determined to strenuously oppose Home Rule and it Britain is to be plunged in this controversy, what will become of Mr Asquith's social programme. The country must be blind unless it realised that the Nationalists' aim was separation. (Received December 15, 11.55 p.m.) LONDON, December 14. ! The Irish League interprets Mr Asquith as claiming a mandate to deal with the self-government of Ireland as soon as the Lords' veto is cleared out of the road. . The Times says that this is a somewhat free interpretation of Mr Asquith's words.
