DISPLAY OF FIREWORKS.
So many people are uuder a misconception concerning fireworks that it is safe to assert that many of those who attend the display which is to be given on the Ashburton Domain to-morrow evening will receive a delightful surprise. A real display is not composed entirely of flights of rockets and aerial bombs, though several of'these are sent »I>, and are always popular. The great attraction of the programme is in the number of beautiful set piecea which are presented; and the cleverness of the designs, enhanced as they are by the introduction of several iugonious mechanical effects, makes" tW very specially attractive to the speclawhl'i Ras l6ll revolving rainbow wheels and a beautiful diamond chromatropo are fascinating objects, and frL? fr 8 are all on a sc^o of great completeness.
