Wheat.-r-There appears to be a ,rajbher, better tone, in the local wheat maj?ke;t ■ and v: any lines that are placed ;undjer offer,*cau.;mpre readily find buyers, though' the quantity offering.is limited. It is probable that enquiry may shortly set in from the North Island, as stocks these must be getting low. During the week two small sales have taken place, 1200 bushels of Tvs? can at 4s 3d and 500 bushels of Tuscan, Pearl and Hunters at 4s 2d, at country stations,'.,having",changed hands. It is also reported "that "alineof Tuscan has been seld at 4s, 3sd at a country station.
