"WELLINGTON, June 23,The National Bank has received a cable message from its London Board advising the declaration of a dividend of 5 per cent for the half year and a bonus to shareholders of 3 per cent, equalling 13 per cent m all for the year to. March 31 last. The sum of £25,000 will be added to the reserve, which will then stand at £375,000, sod £13,000 will be carried forward. Ihe directors have further allocated £10,000 m reduction of bank premises account; and £30QQ to the officers' pension"? fund, and have granted a honiis to the staff. The annual meeting will be held m London on July 6.
