The niost serious case is that of alleged murder against John Oline and Alice Maiid Shepherd, in connection with the Wppdville tragedy. Mr Justice Chap- - man congratulated the district on the marked evidence of a decrease in crime. A true bill was returned in themurder charge, and the trial has : been fixed for Tuesday next.
