MOUNT LYELL COMPANY.
SYDNEY, November 30. At the annual meeting of the Mount Lyell Company, the net profits for the last half-year were stated to be £128,728. A dividend of Is 3d and a bonus of 9d per share, absorbing £120,000, were declared, payable on December 6th. TENNIS, MELBOURNE, December 1. In the tennis championship /of Victoria, Parker beat Dunlop—B-6, 7-5, 7-5. LIEUT. SHACKLETON. Received December 2, 10.3 a.m. ADELAIDE, December 2. Lieut. Shackleton was cordially welcomed by the Governor, Premier, and Mayor.
