WOODVILLE, August 9. The Woodville Jockey Club has made a profit for the year of _ £600, in spite of the bad weather during the autumn meeting. NAPIER, August 9. The Hawke's ' Bay Jockey Club's an'iiiul mdeting was held to-day. The biluico sheet showed a profit for the ",c.n of £2430 3s. It was decided to me lease the stakes during the coming sea,on by £1000. The Hon. J. D. Ormoud has presented a cup value £100, which will be added to the stakes for th. Hawke's Bay Cup of 1908. WELLINGTON, August 9. Ilio stewards of the Wellington RacMip. Club have decided to increase the i ilue of the Welleslcy, Wellington and Clullenge Stakes by 100 soys each, making each stake 500 soys.
