CONVICTIONS AND FINES.

Per Press Association. ' MARTON, August 8. The Court was occupied the whole day with the hearing of the police prosecutions against persons who took part in the disturbance at Marton on Saturday night, July 27. John McKmnon was fined £3, and costs, for throwing an eg", which struck John F. Sicely. Oswald Jefferson and James Freeman were convicted and lined £10 each and costs, for throwing stones and breaking the police station window; and six others were fined £1 each and costs for creating a disturbance. One case was dismissed.
