FIRES.
GISBORNE, August 8. j A . ten-roomed house, owned by Mr ' R. Little and occupied by Mrs Dalley, was destroyed by fire this morning. ■' The insurance on the building was £400 in the State Office, and on the furniture and effects £230 in the Standard Office. A lodger was painfully scorched in escaping.
