A SCOW ASHORE.

AUCKLAND, July 30. The scow Bravo was carried ashore at Pontana Bay, close to Whangarei, on Monday night. The scow had anchored in a sheltered position. Her anchors dragged, and tho vessel was swept ashore. The. crew all landed safely. The scow is said to be on a sandy beacb, and to have sustained no damage. She was bound from Nounguru to Paeroa. The crew are standing by the vessel, and it is expected that she will be floated without much tiiffieulty.
