There was an attendance of about 20 Ashburton County Presbyterian Sunday school teachers at St. Andrew's Church Hall on Thursday afternoon, when the Rev. J. Mackenzie, of Christchurch, as a delegate from the Christchurch Presbyterian Sunday School Teachers' Association, delivered an address on Sunday school work generally, and indicated the lines on which improvements could be made. At-the conclusion it was decicled to form a branch of the Christchurch Association in Ashburton, and to hold an,inaugural meeting to put the matter into shape, at an early date.
