United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph Ohristchoech.Nov. 12 The Supreme Court opened its criminal sittings to-day. Mr Justice Denniston, m charging the Grand Jury, said the calender was comparatively short, and the cases were not of a very serious character, and did not require the serious attention of the grand jurors, most of whom had had experience of the work required of them, William Porter pleaded guilty to making a false declaration. He had been living with a woman separated from her husband, and thought he could marry her. The false declaration was that he actually was mar. ried to the woman. He was sentenced to three months. Edgar C. Turner, for forgery, was sentenced to nine months, to be concurrent with the sentence he is now serving. I
