Presbyterian General Assembly.

United Press Association—By Eientrio Telegraph Dtjnbdin, Nov 11 At thtrPresbyterian General Assembly a minute was adopted expressing profound regret at tbe resignation of the Rev. A. Cameron as convener of the Theological College Committee and high appreciation of his services. The report on general and financial statistics was very elaborate. This showed an increase or' 26 churches, giving 3000 more sittings, 75 more preaching places, total attendance 67,802, an increase of 4419, number of members on communion rolls 31,287. The total debt on church property was £49,395, an increase of .£239*. In the discusskn strong comment was made on the decrease m the number of baptisms. It was resolved that the Rev P. B. Praser, convener, should make a summary of his remarks, to be printed and circulated among presbytery, sessions and deacon's courts. The Rev. A. Don, Chinese missionary, was unanimously elected moderator for 1907-8. Members of the Assembly were entertained at a garden party m First Church grounds m the afternoon by the Rev Dr and Mrs Nisbet. To-day the pulpits m and around the city were occupied by the visiting ministers, the Rev G. B. Monro, moderator, preaohing at Knor Church.
