Tinwald Sports and Races.
The nnnual sports and races conducted by the Tinwald Sport 3 and Racing Club will he held in the local Domain on Monday, and should the weather conditions prove favourable, there is every prospect of the fixture being one of the b^st held under the auspices of the club, as Uir entries for both horse and athletic events constitute a record. The course is just now in capital order, and since the holding of the last meeting many improvements hive been made with a view to popularise tho fixture. The Ashburtou County Brass Band will have a contingent on tho grounds? and in every ether direction the committee have made strong efforts to bring the gathering to a successful issue. A ball will be held at night in the Tinwald Oddfellows' Hall.
