Received Dec. 28, 9.4.4 a.m. Sydney, Den. 28 The Australian Council of the Amalgamated Society of Engineers has srran/ed to Invite Mr Barnes, the wellknown English Labour leader, to visit Australia and deliver addresses on Labour questions.

Mr Barnes, secretary '0 the Amalgamated Engineers, states there is no special reason for his undertaking prop ganda work in Australia, though possibly something could be said in favour of presenting Labour views on f reetrade.
