Primitive Methodist Ftjnday School. —The annual general meeting of the Ashburton Primitive Methodist Sunday School officers was held in the Church last evening, when there were about twelve present, the Rev. J. Guy presiding. The report and balance-sheet for the past financial year were presented and adopted, the latter showing a credit .balance of £2 odd after the year's working. The report stated that the roll number stood at over 120 scholars, which was a slight decrease on that of last year, the decrease being accounted for by the removal o? several families from the district, and the opening of a -und >y Fohnol at Allenton. Thpre was a full complement of teaches, and there was every reason t9 feel encouraged at the results attained, and to feel even more hopeful during the coming year.
