About 2,J)00 mixe.l c.lmaes of sheep and 60 head of on.ttlo comprised the total entry at the Tinwald Yards to-'.liy. The attendance was a good aveiage one, but bidding was unusually sbek in practically every department, with the exception of butchers' live? of sheep. The store shenp entry consisted chiefly of brerafliug ewes with lambs, and witfi the exception of one line the whole o? rhe entry was passed in at public andioD, whilopvicps bid were slightly under those ruling at the last sale. The fat sheep yarded were of good quality nnd laic rates were well m -intainad. Crossbred ewe mut ton sold at the rate of S.jd to 3J<J per lb, nnd crossbred wether murton a shade better. B-iof sold at from 20s to 22s 6d per 1C01b.3. The following arc prices :—
