The yacht Water Lily, capsized at Kaipara harbour yesterday afternoon, when Hannagan and Edward Linton, canning factory employees, were drowned. Arthur Limdberg, the other occupant of the yacht, swam ashore Bafely. The bodies of the others are not yet recovered.

At Waiuku, on Saturday, an Austrian named Mathie Juresevich was accidentally shot dead by his mate, Jurevch. While the latter was giving an illustration of gun drill the weapon went off, the shot penetrating Juresevich's ndbomen. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, co blame being attached to Jurevch.
