A Murderous Assault.

At Boatman's, last evening, two men named Watt and Ryan, occupying one hut, quarrelled over the possession of a letter which the former was reading. Ryan attacked Watt with a razor, inflicting a deep wound in the throat four inches long. The CHse is serious, but hope 3 are entertained of his recovery. Ryan has been placed under arrest for attempted murder.
