The Board of Education has again resolved to approach the Minister for Education for the purpose of having the West Christchurch d-istriot constituted a High School district in consideration of the large number of boys and girls who have passed the sixth standards, and who ore awaiting the desired instruction. Suitable premises already exist for the purpose. The Board has resolved to support the Bill introduced by Mr Buddo granting power for School Committees Accounts to be kept in the Post Offlce Savings Bank, and | will ask the Government to take it up and pass it into |aw this session.
