Sydney, April 26 The kerosene market is excited. Thousands of oases have changed hands at advanced prices. The demands were unsatisfied when holders shub down awaiting war developments.

Press Association— By Electric Telegraph. Wellington, April 26 private cable advices have been received here to-day from Sydney stating thab flour has advanoed to £11 per ton, and prime wheat to 49 6d per bushel. The markets have an upward tendency. These prices are expected to stop importation from Sydney.

A private cable message was received on Tuesday m Christchurch from a leading Sydney fjrm, stating that flour had advanced t>° £11 nett, and the market was decidedly stronger, with an upward tendency. Wheat, prime, was quoted at 4s 6d.
