I/asi evening the company payed to a poor but appreciative house, " The Wearing of the Green " being the piece staged. Mr Dobson as Barney Rooney, Missldrene Thornton as Alglly Q'Connor; Mr Chad wick as Hartyy Mr Hill as Hmnpcy Dargon, and Miss Amy Kowe as Gtace Redmond all acquitted themselves well, and Miss Rowe's songs, especially "The Wearing of the Green," evoked loud applause, as also did Mr Brinkman's " True to the Last," which was admirably sung.
