Sydney, May 14 The Conference of the Ministers of Agriculture of New (South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland has been opened with the object of arranging uniform action in dealing with the tic'< plague; placing the export trade, sq far as the redueti m of freights is concerned, in uniformity j grading, inspection and distribution of exports of colonies concerned ; taking steps to refute the recant allegations mads in England with reference to Australian meat; uniform branding of stock ; and the utilisation of Dr Perkins' sterilised air procesi for the preservation of fruit.
