A largo number of householders were present. The Chairman of the out-going Committee read a report; giving a resume of the year's work. It stated under various headings the amounts of receipts and of expenditure, and showed a good balance to the credit; of the in-coming Committee. 16 lurther mentioned the various improvements to the school buildings and grounds carried into effect during the past year; expressed much satisfaction at the marked increase of the attendance during the past two years; and referred to the good work being done by. thd teachers, as evidenced by the Inspector's examination report. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the outgoing Committee. Twelve householders were proposed for the new Committee. A ballot was taken, and the following were elected as a Committee for the current year :—-Messrs Keays, Annett, O'Connor. Holmes, McKay, Gallagher, and Hansen, A meeting of the new Committee was held afterwards when Mr Keays was elected Chairman for the year.
