WAKANUI.
There was a small attendance. Mr James Brown occupied the chair-, and read the report of the Committee, which was adopted. It showed the receipts to have been —Salaries, £448 19s 5d ; incidentals, including credit balance from last year and a donation of 6s 3d, £80 15s lid; total, £529 15s 4d. Expenditure— Salaries, £448 19a 5d ; incidentals, £61_ 16a 7d ; total, £510 16s, leaving a credit* balance of £18 19s 4d. After some difficulty in getting the requisite number of householders to consent to nomination, the following were declared elected:— James Brown, N. Fitzgerald, C. Hill, H. Sinclair, J. Thompson, D. Leddy, George Clepliane. At the meeting of the new Committee Mr Brown was elected Chairman and Treasurer, and it was resolved that;the Committee meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
