Finding ten shillings too much in his pay, Tommy chuckled gleefully and went on the spree. Next week he found ten shillings too —and hared it to the paymaster’s office. “Why didn’t you say anything when you were overpaid asked the officer. Tommy thought for a few moments. Then: “Well, sir, anyone can forgive a mistake once, but when it happens twice it’s high time to complain.”
