Y.M.C.A. SOLDIERS’ TEA
Members of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Boys’ Division, Wellington Y.M.C.A., with the president, Mrs. Horace Brooker, were hostesses, at the soldiers’ tea yesterday. A bright programme was provided, those taking part being Mr. V. Jones and Miss Johnston, vocal solos; Corporal C. Cathcart, R.N.Z.A.F., whistling solo; Mr. L. Constable, monologue. The pianist was Mrs. Goatham. Captain Blanchard was the chairman and Mr. H. Brooker led the community singing. .
