CLUBS AT WEEKEND
Entertainment For Men Of Forces / All clubs in Wellington for the entertainment of men of the forces were busy at the weekend. At the A.N.A. .Club there was an unusually large attendance yesterday. The weekend dances were also well attended. As time goes on the members of the three forces are taking more advantage of the club. The cafeteria supplies very appetizing meals at all hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Last week the executive were assisted by the. girls’ auxiliary, many helpers who are members of the club, and members .of the English-Speaking Union and Air Force; Relations. \ Those in charge of the' dancing at the weekend were Mrs. John Tredray Miss Harper Allen, and Miss Moya Hempton. National Club. Those in charge of the National Union’s tea dance at the National Club on Saturday were Misses P. Hogg, Betty and Sylvia McLaren, J. Cavaghan, A. Gunn, B. Harley-Brown, N. Paulin, K. Morgan, J. Shennan. On Sunday members of the Wellington Central district were in charge. Mrs. A. E. Meech was convener, assisted by Mesdames S. F. Stone, M. G. Blundell, 11. F. Toogood, A. S. Morley, and Misses J. Meech, K. Moyinhan, and J. Shearer.
