MRS LEE-COWIE’S GOSPEL TEMPERANCE HALL.
Mrs has taken over the large hall known as East Street Methodist Mission, and wll open it as a Gospel Temperance H til. for all kinds of Christian and temperance work. Th**rp will be a Mothers* Rest Room, with a bright, capable person in charge This will be a great boon to mothers, who can leave their little ones there vhilo they do their shopping. During the visit of the U.S.A. fleet to Auckland the Hall will be open to the men. They can go there to read and to write the letters. A cup of tea or coffee and a very warm welcome will be provided by a splendid hand of our W.C.T.U. workers. Mrs Cowle is most anxious that the Hall should be a blessing and a comfort to visitors to the city.
