Mihwh Hiaikie ami Williams nave lengthy and stirring reports of Conveiiti u, Miss Williams proudly handing over tlie Y banner (which the Unit n had won lust year for the increase in members) to the President, Miss Dawson. Great interest was taken in Mrs Don's memento* of her recent trip It was decided to keep them as L'nion property, Secretary to write and thank Mrs lion. Much 'egret was expressed at the loss the liram h has sustained through the removal of Miss Rita Fin |a>son to Christchurch, the President, with -everal of the older members, speaking of the good work done for the Branch by Mis* K nlayaoii. A letter of appreciation, with a parting gift, were to be sent to Miss Fmlayson. Miss Lopdell and others welcomed Mrs \oung back to their midst again. TOTAKA VALLEY. April. President occupied the chair. Ih*led that the next meeting is* a ‘Peace'* meeting. The President gave an Interesttig talk on the recent Convention and the work for the coming year. NEW BRIGHTON. \pril 22. At Mrs Gibb's residence. Attendance good. President in the chair. The delegate to Convention gave hei report, which was most interesting, and much appreciated by all. A hearty vot« of thanks was accorded the hostess. items were contributed during the evening by Mrs F M. Mitchell, Misses T. Huxton, M Lightholy, O, and A. Gibb, and B. Nelson. HASTINGS. April 21. Debate tad ween Y.M-C.A. ami Y's to be held next meeting Fruit supper was served. Meeting closed with hymn and prayer.
