tains well-selected cuttings, a fascinating serial story, chats on home life, church antiquities, and current literature'; short stories for old and young, poetry, hints for housewives, a page of queries and answers, and a TT.ible reading page excellent for parents and children who. live m the backblocks, and who seldom have the opportunities of attending Divine service ; besides other interesting features. If you cannot- subscribe yourself get your neighbor to do so and borrow it. If you are a subscriber do hot forget to pass on your copy to some one else when you have read it. Help to sow the good seed. The Sunday School prizes have been distributed lately ,m the various centres. At Te Karaka Miss Barclay and. Miss Bourfield arranged for a tea meeting and concert to mark the occasion. We have distributed some very good books, both interesting" and instructive. The Vicar 5s very anxious to get a fund fbr school libraries established m connection with each school. The Sunday School at Kaitaratafc, only recently opened, is making wonderful progress. The Vicar hopes to open another Sunday School shortly/ Services at Makaraka which have been suspended for several months owing to the smallness of the congregations will be resumed m September. The Vicar hopes that out. friends who come out from tCme to time to conduct the services at Makaraka will never have to return m future without' effecting their mission for lack of a congregation.
