Ko te taha o te mahi takuta i whakapaua e ia tona kaha kite ako ko nga mate epa ana ki nga wahine ki nga tamariki. Eai ki tana: “ E taea ai te nuinga o nga mate e pa ana ki nga wahine te whakaora, ma nga takuta wahine ano.”
Ko nga matua o Hete kei Akarana, ko ia kei Otautahi (Christchurch) e mahi ana i tana mahi takuta.
