At a meeting of St. Anne's Guild held recently, the following officers were elected President, Mrs. Doyle ; treasurer, Mrs. Power j secretary, Mrs. Brosnan! The guild will have a stall in the forthcoming bazaar, and this fact made the election of the executive of more than usual importance. •• ' -•.':•

Mrs. Ardagh held a most successful social in the Assembly Rooms on Thursday evening last. *' The spacious hall was well decorated for the occasion. The music and refreshments were excellent, and the : hostess personally looked to the comfort of her many guests. -> .Very Rev. Dean Tubman has "gone on a health holiday to the South Sea Islands, and during his absence Rev. Father Smyth is in charge of the parish.
