Deserters from Merchant Vessels.
From the Ship “ Machrihanish,” at Wellington. On 9th and 12th January, 1903.
Ambrose Harvey, seaman, native of England, seventeen years of age, about 5 ft. high, stout build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, dark-brown eyes ; dressed in blue suit with brass buttons, sailor’s cap with badge; H.H. and crossed flags on hands and arms. Supposed to have gone up country. A reward of £5 will be paid for his apprehension. Owen Evans, native of Wales, thirty-two years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, stout build, fresh complexion, fair hair, grey eyes, small fair moustache only, abscess-mark under right ear, scar on left jaw.
