Whitiangi.— Francis Kirk repoits supposed stolen from D. H. Macpberson’s yard a bay gelding, five years old, about 14 hands 2in. high, no brands; an old saddle; a green-hide bridle, no throat-strap, riveted, not sewn; and a green-hide girth: value, £l2. Feilding. — Charles Moores is charged on warrant with the theft, between the 4th and 6ih instant, at Makino Road, of eleven two-year-old heifers, and three steers (recovered), the property of Leslie Wheeler; value, £SO. Offender is a native of Halcombe, a labourer, generally employed driving teams or ploughing, twenty-three years of ago, 5 ft. 8 in. high, medium active build, dark sunburned complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, small dark moustache only ; dressed in dark-grey sac suit, and hard black hat. He was riding a black horse with bang tail, and had a swag rolled up in a sack in front. Supposed making for Taihape.
