Missing Friends.
William John Kilpin is inquired for by the Stratford police, with a view of compelling him to support his wife and children, who are destitute. Description: A native of Christchurch, New Zealand, a farmer and bush-labourer, about twenty-six years of age, about 5 ft. 8 in. high, fair complexion, grey eyes, light-brown hair, stout, strong build, smart active appearance, two moles on right cheek and one on right side of neck and on throat; was last seen in Stratford on the 23rd August last.
Elley. —lnquiry is requested by the Tasmanian police, on behalf of a relative residing in Hobart, for the present address of Archibald Alexander Elley, believed to be residing in New Zealand. (01/1848.)
