Auckland. —George Robert Morpeth, sharebroker, Hamilton Road, Ponsonby, reports stolen from a paddock, on the 18th March last, a bay mare, hack breed, black points, about seven years old, about 15 hands high, a little white on forehead, longish tail, hair off hind fetlocks ; value, £lO.

Waihi. —Charles Albert Johnston Fletcher, farmer, reports stolen from the Katikati Road, on the Ist or 2nd instant, a black mare, draught breed, aged, 16 hands high, white star on forehead, small white spot on back under saddle, no visible brands; value, £2l.
Waihi. —Charles Harley, storekeeper, reports stolen from a paddock at Bowen Town, between the Ist and 3rd instant, a roan gelding, hack breed, eight years old, about 15 hands high, one hip-bone slightly knocked in, brand unknown. ,J f Supposed to have been ridden by a Maori in the direction of • Tauranga.
Gisborne. Frederick Hamilton reports stolen from a paddock at Tatapouri, on the 21st or 22nd ultimo, a darkbay gelding, black points, about seven years old, 15| hands high, short tail, branded with a curve within a circle on near shoulder and HH (conjoined) on body near girth, value £8; and a black gelding, hands high, off hind foot steel-grey, short tail, branded with a double-headed spike on near shoulder, value £lO.

Manaia. James John Patterson, blacksmith, reports stolen from a paddock, between the 28th March and 15th April, 1897, a white heifer with strawberry neck and head, four years old, straight-upward horns, branded 8 on near rump, two slits on near ear (one on each side of point) ; value, £4. Complainant guarantees a reward of £5 on conviction of the offender or offenders.
