Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Royalist ,” at Auckland.
On 17th April, 1897. Robert Fisher, ordinary seaman, a native of Preston, Lancashire, about twenty-one years of age, 5 ft. 3 in. high, dark hair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, scar on left hand, two rings tattooed on second and third fingers of left hand. On 29th April, 1897. William Pilgrim, ordinary seaman, a native of Norwich, England, about nineteen years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion. Charles Henry Scoons, ordinary seaman, a native of Chatham, Kent, about nineteen years of age, 5 ft. in. high, dark hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, scar over right eyebrow and on right forearm. James Robb, ordinary seaman, a native of Liverpool, England, about twenty years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, darkbrown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, birth mark on left collar-bone.
A reward of £3 is offered for each if apprehended within two years from the date of desertion, in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government. (2-91.)

John Duffy, domestic, second-class (ward-room cook), thirty-eight years of age, a native of Bishopsgate, London, 5 ft. 4 in. high, dark hair, light-blue eyes, fresh complexion.

Joseph Cant, deserter from H.M.S. “ Mildura,” at Sydney, has been arrested by Constable J. Mcllveney, Auckland police, and placed on board the “ Goldfinch.” Offender was going under the name of Joseph Barnes.
