Helensville. — James Alexander McMahon, Babylon, reports stolen from his washhouse, on the 14th or 15th ultimo, a red-and-yellow-striped bag, containing two Frenchcambric shirts, one with blue spots the other large checks, collars attached ; a flannelette shirt with side-pockets, two ladies’ grey-merino singlets; five cambric handkerchiefs, some with horseshoes round borders, the others a zigzag pattern; three pairs of ladies’ black stockings, and three pairs of coloured socks ; value £2 13s. 6d. Identifiable.
Auckland. — Thomas Cashan reports stolen, on the 29th ultimo, from a boat at No. 2 Jetty, Quay Street, a pair of serge trousers, half-worn, size 5, and a new ash oar, 9ft. long; value 12s. Identifiable. Complainant resides at Brick Bay, North Shore.
Patea. —Alfred A. Gower reports stolen, on the 24th or 25th ultimo, from the Harmonic Hall, a brown-corduroy sac-coat, single-breasted, size 4, side- and left-breast pockets without flaps, and a pair of trousers and vest of similar material, size 6 ; value £2. Identifiable.
Hawera.— William Brisco, Te Roti, reports stolen from his horse in the yard of the Commercial Hotel, Normanby, between 7 p.m. on the 28th and 4 a.m. on the 20th ultimo, a pair of stirrup-leathers, nearly new, and nickel-plated irons; value 17s. 6d.
Eketahuna. —Berg Anderson reports stolen from the Public Hall, Mauriceville, on the 29tli ultimo, a dark-blue diagonal-cloth overcoat, with detachable cape, nearly new ; value £3 15s. Identifiable.

John alias Harry Ferguson, alias Brown, charged with stealing Peacock and Geaney’s saddle and trousers at Ashdyke, Timaru, has been arrested by Constable-11. Field, Waimate Police, and sentenced to six months’ imprisonment.
Oamaru. —Syril Ireland, barque “ Lutterworth,” reports stolen from his cabin, on the 29th or 30th ultimo, a gentlemen’s gold ring, 18-carat, two grooves on band, set with an oval bloodstone on which a harp is engraved ; value £2. Identifiable.
Hampden. —Newton and Co. report stolen from the railway goods-slied, Wainuakaroa, between the Ist and 25th ultimo, two bags of pollard; value 14s.
Ngapara. —Ronald McMaster, sheep-farmer, Tokerahi, reports stolen from his shed, between the 22nd and 26th ultimo, three carcases of mutton ; value £2 ss.

Wellington. —William Ashby, s.s. “ Otarama,” reports stolen from his bunk, on the 6th instant, a fine-cloth pilotjacket, broad binding, inside and outside breast-pocket, a vest of same material, and a pair of heavy dark-tweed trousers, stripe pattern ; value £3. Identifiable.
Paeroa. —Charles Odium reports stolen from of! his horse at Hikutaia, on the 23rd ultimo, a saddle very much worn near knee-pads, an old stirrup-leather for girth, and two rusty oval-shaped stirrup-irons, one larger than the other; value 10s. Identifiable.
Cromwell. —Edward McNulty reports stolen from off his fence, on the 29th or 30th ultimo, three horse-covers, one of them with a hole cut in the breast-part, calico tail-straps to each ; value £3. Identifiable.
Cromwell. —William Henry Rowe reports stolen from off his horse in Ritchie’s stables, Bannockburn, on the Ist or 2nd instant, a pair of stirrup-leathers, copper rivet at each buckle, nickel-silver irons, a double-rein bridle with nickelsilver bit, and copper rivet on choke-band, a Spanish martingale, a dark waterproof coat with cape, and saddle-strap; value £2 19s. Identifiable.
Reefton. —Henry Oxley, Broadway, reports stolen from his washhouse, on the sth or 6th instant, a cotton skirt, pink-striped, three single and three double sheets, four pillow-slips, four large Turkish towels, and a striped flannelette shirt; value £2 12s. Identifiable.
