Lindsay, at Foster, about the 7th October last, a gold hunting English lever watch, engraved case, No. 16225, and a gold albert, wire-twisted pattern, with a small gold locket attached; value £25. Complainant’s address is care of Isaac Michael, pawnbroker, Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. (0/3633, sth May, 1891.) James Murray is charged, on warrant, with stealing a watch, chain, and locket, value £25, from John W. Lindsay, at Foster, Gippsland, on the 7th October last. Description: Native of New Zealand, twenty-six years of age, sft. Sin. high, stout build, square shoulders, very dark swarthy complexion, dark coarse hair, dark moustache and sideboards, chin shaved ; about 13 stone weight; generally wears dark clothes and black soft felt-hat. Said liis father and mother lived about two miles out of Christchurch, New Zealand, and he may have gone there. (0/3633, 29tli May, 1891.)
