Horse- and Cattle-Stealing.

Huiatahi, charged with stealing the bay gelding, the property of Charles Innes, &c., has been arrested by Sergeant R. J. Gillies, and committed for trial on the charge of horse-
stoaling; and fined £2O and costs, or, in default, three months’ imprisonment, for rescuing cattle from the Te Awamutu Public Pound.
