Deserting Wives and Families, &c.
Ernest Calvert Wilkinson is charged, on warrant issued by the Wellington Bench, with deserting his wife and two infant children, at Wellington, since the 20th December, 1883. Description: English, a clerk, twenty-seven years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, slight build, fair hair and complexion, slight fair beard and whiskers, hazel eyes, large nose, a large lump on left wrist, which has been fractured, marks of cupping on chest; was fonnely Clerk at Resident Magis. trate’s Court, Hawera. David Muir, charged on warrant with deserting his two children, has been arrested by Detective J. W. Ede, Invercargill Police, and remanded to Dunedin.
