Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of Henry Thomas Dare, supposed English, a labourer and sailor, between thirty-five and forty years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, medium build, sallow complexion, coarse carroty beard whiskers and moustache, worn full. He left. Wellington about the end of February last, supposed for the Wairarapa District. Inquiry is made for him at the request of his wife.

Thomas George, who it was said accidentally shot himself in 1862 or 1863, is at present residing at Opunake. He does not know where his brother Frederick is.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of G. H. Gooche, a fellmonger by trade, about twenty-five .years of age, 5 feet 7or 8 inches high, fresh complexion, slight build. He left the employment of Mr. Richard Hammond, fellmonger, York Farm, Marton, about twelve months ago, and came to Wellington, where he soon after left, supposed for Christchurch, with the intention of going into business. Inquiry is made for him at the request of Mr. John Leafer, Superintendent, Lincolnshire Constabulary.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of John O’Loghlen, a native of Ireland, very tall, dark hair and whiskers, brown eyes. He left Ireland on the Ist November, 1880, for this colony. Inquiry is made for him at the request of Mr. H. J. Fetherston, Maryborough, Queensland. His sister, Miss Tillie O’Loghlen, resides at Gympie.

Ole Olsen left Wellington with the Public Works Volunteers early in 1880 for the Taranaki District, and was employed at Werekino, Stoney River, but left there soon after for Inglewood, for the purpose of obtaining bush-work.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of James W. Kendall, an upholsterer and French polisher, who left Wellington for Sydney some time since, where it is stated he was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for assault. Inquiry is made for him at the request of his wife, Ruth E. Kendall, 18, Duhamel Place, St. Heliers, Jersey.
