February 3. The weather has been glorious, picnics and all sorts of outdoor amusements being thfc order of the day. Every day parties go up the mountain to visit the falls, and, perhaps, climb to the summit. Mrs. 0. Curtis gave a delightful picnic at the Ngacre Gardens on Saturday, the guests arrivhig per bicycle, horse, trap, train, and motor. The members of the Stratford Croquet Club, who went to New Plymouth on Thursday, 'beat the home club by 158 to 127.
