On Thursday afternoon last Mrs. Claude Wilson gave a most enjoyable afternoon to some of the members of the G.FJ?., amt it took the form of a Liberty pin-cushion sewing bee, in aid of a bazaar which is to be held shortly in St. Mary's Schoolroom. Rennell, navy blue taffetas, hat relieved with pink roses; Miss B. Evans, navy blue coat and skirt, green hat; Miss F. ■Evans, green coat and skirt, pretty purple hat; Mrs. A. 1). “ At Home." On Thursday evening Mr. F. S. Johns held a charming “at home," which took the form of a euehre and musical evening. The prizes were won by Mrs. W. Johns, Miss Leatham. and Mr. Collins. During the evening songs were rendered by Miss Capper and Mr. Hannah. Mrs. Johns received her guests in a cinnamon brown chiffon taffetas, relieved with cream lace; Mrs. (frappe, saxe blue taffetas, cream lace vest; Miss Gapper, dainty cream crepe de chine; Mrs. W.
