Dear Bee, a y On Friday evening Mr and Mrs Graham give a most enjoyable dance at their residence, “’The Lodge,’ Hamilton, the occasion being the debut of their youngest daughter. Miss Olive Graham, who looked charming in a pretty dross of soft white silk with trimming of accordion-pleated chi 11 on. “The Lodge” is an ideal house for a dance, with its picturesque grounds, overlooking the Waikato river. The garden was hung with Chinese Lin erns, which added much to th<* beauty of the scene. Mr and Mrs Graham and their daughters did everything for the enjoyment and pleasure of their guests. Mis Graham wore black; Miss Violet Graham. yellow: Miss Hilda Graham, pink silk; Miss Ruby Graham, white silk; Mrs Shanahan, black silk; Mrs Douglas, black silk skirt, cream blouse; Mrs Brewis, green; Mrs ('. Mathews, pretty white silk; Mrs de C. Drury, black silk with crimson roses; Mrs Manning, black skirt, cream blouse; Miss O’Nr* 11. green silk; Miss E. Edgecumbe, white dress, scarlet sash; Miss M. Edgecumbe. white silk; Miss Hunter, pretty white net over white silk: Miss Nowell, pink silk; Miss Cussen, white satin; Miss M. Cussen. white silk with touches of red; Miss Barton, black dress, relieved with blue; Miss Wallnutt, blue silk; Miss Chitty, black: Miss Holloway, black dress; Miss Sarnies, pink silk; Mrs Smith, pretty black dress with silver trimming; Miss Burd, white muslin. The gentlemen present were Mr Graham, Drs. Douglas and Brewis, Messrs Manning, Smith, Shanahan. Edgecumbe, Bell, Berk mover. Ferguson. Loa, S' and, Hanna, McDiarmid, Chitty (2).
